The Chance to Win Up to $2 Million Playing Powerball Can Happen By Simply Adding the Power Play!

With the Power Play 10X promotion, a 10X will replace one of the four 5Xs on the Power Play Random Number Generator (RNG).

During this promotion if the 10X is drawn during a Power Play drawing, eligible Powerball with Power Play prizes will be multiplied by 10. That means, if you win the $200,000 second prize with the Power Play on your ticket and the 10X comes up in the Power Play RNG, you win $2 million!

*Jackpot prizes are NOT eligible for Power Play.

**If Power Play 10X is drawn, the prize for matching five white balls will be $200,000 multiplied by 10 ($2 million), assuming the prize is not required to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis. If Power Play 5X, 4X, 3X or 2X are drawn, and winners at the Match 5 with Power Play level exceed the available prize fund, prizes may be paid on a pari-mutuel basis and be lower than the $1 million prize.

The 10X was not drawn in May, so the promotion will continue until the 10X is drawn.

• The first 10X drawing will be May 1.
  
  
• The last eligible draw will be Saturday, May 29 - as long as at least one 10X is drawn during the month of May.
  
  
• If a 10X is not drawn during the month of May, then the 10X promotion will continue until a 10X is drawn.
  
  
• Multi-draw Powerball with the Power Play tickets purchased prior to April 29 that are good for drawings during the promotional period are eligible for the 10x promotion.

How the Power Play Works for This Promotion

The Power Play multiplier number is chosen at random during the Powerball drawings on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. The Power Play number determines by how much a winner's prize will be multiplied with the Power Play option.

• The RNG normally has the numbers 2X through 5X in it, but during Power Play 10X, there is also a 10X.
  
  
• The normal Powerball Power Play option sets the multiplier at 5X when players match five white balls - even if a lower multiplier is drawn.
  
  
• During the Power Play 10X promotion, the prize for matching five white balls will be $200,000 multiplied by the 5X ($1 million) - unless a 10X is drawn. If the 10X is drawn, the prize for matching five white balls will be $200,000 multiplied by 10X ($2 million), assuming the prize is not required to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.
