Compensation

Below is an overview of the Retailer compensation program. See Retailer Compensation Rules for further details.

Base Sales Commission

Retailers will receive a base commission rate for tickets sold for these products:

• Lotto Games: 5.5%
• Scratch Games: 5.5%
• Pull-tab Games: 5%

Gold Star Program

Retailers can become a Gold Star Program member and increase their scratch game sales commission to 7%.

Sliding Scale Lotto Sales Bonus

Retailers can earn a bonus for increasing their lotto sales 10% - 40% above their established sales base. A bonus rate of 1% - 4% is applied to the sales over the established base to calculate the bonus earned.

Peak Sales Bonus

Retailers will receive a 0.5% sales bonus:

• On Powerball/Power Play sales when Powerball jackpot is equal to or exceeds $150 million.
• On Mega Millions/Megaplier sales when Mega Millions jackpot is equal to or exceeds $150 million.

Sales will be tracked during the jackpot run and bonuses will be awarded after the jackpot is won.

High-Tier Prize Sales Bonus

Retailers who sell a ticket winning one of the following high-tier prizes receive the bonus noted:

• Sell a Powerball ticket winning the Jackpot and receive a $10,000 bonus.
• Sell a Mega Millions ticket winning the Jackpot and receive a $10,000 bonus.
• Sell a Hot Lotto ticket winning the Jackpot and receive a $5,000 bonus.
• Sell a non-jackpot winning lotto game ticket of $100,000 or more and receive a bonus of 1/10 of 1 percent of the prize amount (i.e. $100,000 winning ticket earns a $100 bonus).
