What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and it's a way for the Iowa Lottery to push its most recent content to visitors who sign up for the service.  You can select RSS feeds to provide you with the most up-to-the-minute news from the Iowa Lottery and stay current about winning numbers, winners, new games and promotions.

To subscribe to the Iowa Lottery's feed, you will need to install a piece of software called an RSS aggregator or reader.  A list of programs with links is provided below. Most of these programs look like Microsoft Outlook and new items appear in a list, like new e-mails.  Once you have installed an RSS aggregator or reader, you can subscribe to the RSS feeds from this site as well as your other favorite sites.

Once you have signed up for our feed, the latest content will get sent to your RSS reader. You won't need to use your browser anymore to surf from site to site to keep up with the latest news.
