$10,000-Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Sioux City

Florida Man Wins Big Prize in '$100,000 Holiday Crossword' Game

CLIVE, Iowa - A Florida man has won a $10,000 lottery prize on a ticket he purchased in Sioux City.

Jayson Zortman of Winter Park, Fla., won the big prize in the Iowa Lottery's "$100,000 Holiday Crossword" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Fleet Farm Fuel, 5860 Sunnybrook Drive in Sioux City, and claimed his prize Tuesday at the lottery's Mason City regional office.

The $100,000 Holiday Crossword is a $10 scratch game that features seven top prizes of $100,000, 15 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.29.

Players can enter nonwinning holiday scratch tickets into the lottery's Warehouse Dash® Play It Again® promotion from now through 9:59 a.m. on Jan. 4. The promotion will award $200,000 in cash prizes, including a $100,000 grand prize, and four trips to Chicago for a 90-second Warehouse Dash shopping spree.
