CLIVE, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids man has won a $10,000 lottery prize.

Thomas Schroeder won the seventh prize of $10,000 in the Iowa Lottery's "Lucky Numbers Game Book" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee Drugstore, 4825 Johnson Ave. NW in Cedar Rapids. He claimed his prize Tuesday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

Lucky Numbers Game Book a $20 scratch game. It features six pages of games, 15 top prizes of $100,000, 15 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.51. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
