Logan McConnell Wins Top Prize In 'Super 20s' Game

CLIVE, Iowa - A northwest Iowa man has won a $100,000 lottery prize.

Logan McConnell of Sibley won the third top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Super 20s" scratch game. He bought his winning ticket at Cooperative Energy, 1708 Pierce Ave. in Sibley, and claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery's Storm Lake regional office.

Super 20s is a $20 scratch game that features eight top prizes of $100,000, eight prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.40. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit ialottery.com.

Since the lottery's start in 1985, its players have won more than $5.7 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $2.4 billion for the state programs that benefit all Iowans.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
