Which tickets are eligible to be entered in the promotion?
Winning or nonwinning Mega Millions® tickets are eligible for entry in this promotion. No other Iowa Lottery tickets are eligible for entry in this promotion.
Do I need to keep my ticket after I enter it?
You do not have to keep your ticket to be eligible to win a promotion prize but you will want to keep your ticket if the Mega Millions drawing has yet to happen or if it is a winning ticket that you still need to redeem.
I’m manually entering my ticket number but it’s not working, can you help?

I’m getting a message saying my ticket was invalid for entry but I can see the date on my ticket says July 14, what’s going on?
See this diagram Lotto ticket to determine if the date you’re looking at is the draw date or the purchase date. The ticket must be purchased on or after July 14, your ticket may have been purchased BEFORE July 14 if they draw date reads July 14. The purchase date reads as YYYMMDD, i.e. 20250714.
My Mega Millions ticket has multiple plays on it, does each play count as an entry into the promotion?
No, the Mega Millions ticket counts as one entry per printed ticket regardless of how many plays are on it. The promotion entry system only recognizes the individual ticket number as the entry.
How often can I enter this promotion?
You can make 40 attempts to enter tickets per day. After midnight your account will reset, and you can enter more tickets at that time.
Can I choose which game I want to attend?
Yes! There are two choices of games to enter to win: Iowa State vs. Iowa on September 6, 2025 (valued at $4,365.90)
or Iowa State vs. Arizona State on November 1, 2025 (valued at $3,326.40). Both suite prize packages offer the same features
What is all included in the VIP Suite Experience
- Two (2) suite tickets
- Food, water and soda served in the suite
- One (1) parking pass
- Cyclone athlete meet and greet
- $150 worth of merchandise
- $250 spending money (paid via check)
- Required 3.8% state income tax withholding paid on the value of the prize package
Can I win multiple prizes?
A player could win one prize package for each game, but they cannot win more than one prize package for the same game.
How are winners notified if they have won?
Results will be posted to the website and mobile app. Winners will be notified by the email address that they used for their VIP Club account.
How do I claim my prize if I’ve won?
Winners will need to fill out claim documents either in-person at an Iowa Lottery office or the Iowa Lottery’s electronic claim process.
Will I have to pay taxes on the prize if I win?
State of Iowa required income tax withholding is paid on paid on the value of the prize package.
