You must be at least 21 years old to purchase Iowa Lottery tickets and win a prize in this promotion.
How to Enter
1. JOIN THE FREE VIP CLUB, if you're not already a member.
2. THE EASIEST WAY TO ENTER IS TO DOWNLOAD THE APP. Download the LotteryPlus app from Google Play or the App Store.
3. SCAN your tickets. After logging in to your VIP Club account, choose the "Enter Drawings" tab and "NASCAR® in Iowa & NASCAR Powerball - The Chase to $1 Million" button,
use your mobile device’s camera to enter by scanning any of the square bar codes on your ticket.
- OR MANUALLY ENTER ON A WEB BROWSER. Choose the "Enter Here" button on the promotion page,
log into your VIP Club account, then click the "NASCAR® in Iowa & NASCAR Powerball - The Chase to $1 Million” Promotion image and enter the required ticket information.
Which tickets are eligible for the promotion?
Winning or nonwinning Iowa Lottery Powerball® tickets purchased on or after May 7, 2026 are eligible for entry in this promotion. No other tickets are eligible for entry in this promotion.
No other Iowa Lottery tickets are eligible for entry in this promotion.
I’m entering my Powerball ticket numbers, but I’m getting an error message, why is that happening?
First, be sure that the ticket was purchased on or after May 7, 2026 – the date on your tickets reads YYYYMMDD.
Second, double-check the numbers you are entering to be sure they are correct and that you have all the boxes filled in.

My ticket has multiple plays and/or draws on it. Does each one count as entries into my account?
No, each Powerball ticket = one entry, regardless of the amount of plays or draws on the ticket. If you buy multiple plays and/or draws within the duration of this promotion and want to include them as entries, split them up into multiple tickets if you’d like each one to count as an entry.
Do I need to keep my ticket after I enter it?
Keep your tickets for future Powerball drawings if the drawing has yet to occur or if they are winning tickets that you need to redeem. Be sure to enter your winning tickets into your account before claiming any prize as retailers will need to keep your ticket for prize redemption. You do not have to keep your ticket after it has been entered to be eligible to win a promotion prize.
How often can I enter this promotion?
You can make 40 attempts to enter tickets in a promotion(s) per day. After midnight your account will reset, and you can enter more tickets at that time

Can I win multiple prizes?
A player could win one prize package for an Iowa Speedway prize package and win the $10,000 + semi-finalist entry prize with multiple ticket entries, but cannot win both a VIP Suite and a Grandstand prize package. The higher value prize will be awarded.
How are winners notified if they have won?
Results will be posted to the website and mobile app. Winners will be notified by the email address that they used for their VIP Club account.
How do I claim my prize if I’ve won?
Winners will need to fill out claim documents either in-person at an Iowa Lottery office or the Iowa Lottery’s electronic claim process.
I’m not able to attend all three days of NASCAR® Weekend, can I gift my prize to a friend?
After winners have claimed their prize and filled out all necessary claim documents, they are permitted to gift or transfer the race tickets. Each race day has a separate ticket.
