CLIVE, Iowa — A southeast Iowa man has won a $25,000 lottery prize.
John VanDenBerg of Kirkville won the big prize playing the Iowa Lottery's "500X" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Eddyville Travel Plaza BP, 500 S. Merino Ave. in Eddyville, and claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery's main office in Clive.
