Illinois Woman Claims Top Prize In 'Diamond Dollars' Game

CLIVE, Iowa — An Illinois woman has won a $100,000 lottery prize on a lottery ticket she purchased in Dubuque.

Judy Welp of East Dubuque, Ill., won a top prize in the Iowa Lottery's “Diamond Dollars” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Tobacco Outlet Plus, 806 Wacker Drive in Dubuque, and claimed her prize Monday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

Diamond Dollars is a $10 scratch game with prizes ranging from $10 to $100,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.86. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.
