General Questions
Which tickets are eligible for the promotion?
Nonwinning IOWA™ BLACKOUT (#761) scratch tickets are eligible for entry in this promotion.
Do I need to keep my ticket after I enter it?
You do not have to keep your ticket to be eligible to win a promotion prize.
I'm manually entering my ticket number but it's not working, can you help?
See this Scratch ticket diagram if you're having issues manually entering your scratch ticket. The ticket number on the front will be located under the scratch material where it says "WIN UP TO $50,000!"
Can I choose which game I want to attend?
Yes! There are five choices of games to enter to win: Iowa vs. Indiana on September 27, 2025, Iowa vs. Penn State on October 18, Iowa vs. Oregon on November 8, Iowa vs. Michigan State on November 22, and Iowa vs. Minnesota on October 25, 2025. Each prize package type varies by game.
What is all included in each prize package?
Ironmen Suite VIP Experience includes:
- Two (2) suite tickets
- Food, water and soda served in the suite
- Hawkeye branded merchandise
- $250 spending money (paid via check)
- Required 3.8% state income tax withholding paid
BLACKOUT Game VIP Experience includes:
- Four (4) stadium seat tickets
- One (1) parking pass
- Access to Hawkeye Village pregame hospitality
- Pregame on-field access with a tour of the Ted Pacha Family Club
- Tour of the radio booth with Gary Dolphin & Pat Angerer
- $100 in Hawkeye merchandise
- $250 spending money
- Required 3.8% state income tax withholding paid
Stadium Seats includes:
- Four (4) stadium seat tickets
- One (1) parking pass
- Hawkeye branded merchandise
- $250 spending money (paid via check)
- Required 3.8% state income tax withholding paid
Can I win multiple prizes?
A player could win one prize package for each game, but they cannot win more than one prize package for the same game. If a player is drawn for both an Iowa Lottery Ironmen Suite prize package and a stadium seat prize package, the higher value prize will be awarded.
How are winners notified if they have won?
Results will be posted to the website and mobile app. Winners will be notified by the email address that they used for their VIP Club account.
How do I claim my prize if I've won?
Winners will need to fill out claim documents either in-person at an Iowa Lottery office or the Iowa Lottery's electronic claim process.
Will I have to pay taxes on the prize if I win?
State of Iowa required income tax withholding is paid by Iowa Lottery on behalf of the player for the value of the prize package.
