About the VIP Trip Package
What are the dates of the trip?
Your flight to Austin from Des Moines leaves on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 and you'll return to Des Moines on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022
What's included in the trip prize package?
Your fabulous Fly with Cy Austin VIP trip prize includes:
- 2 tickets to the Iowa State Cyclones vs. Texas Longhorns football game Oct. 15 at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium
- Roundtrip airfare for 2 from Des Moines to Austin, TX, aboard a chartered flight
- Hotel accommodations for 2, 1 room for 2 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn, Austin University Capitol District
- $1,000 in spending cash when you claim your prize
- Ground transportation to and from hotel from the airport, and to and from the stadium from the hotel
- Merchandise swag bag
- Applicable state and federal withholding taxes paid on the trip package prize
- Each VIP trip package is valued at $7,293.86

Eligible Tickets
Does my Hit It Big! ticket have to be nonwinning to be entered in the promotion?
Yes, your Hit It Big! ticket must be a nonwinner to be eligible for entry.
Can I enter ANY scratch ticket in the promotion?
Tickets entered MUST be Hit It Big! tickets. Other scratch tickets are ineligible.
More Austin Trip Details
If I win a trip prize package, can I just take cash instead?
No, there is no cash option for the trip prize package.
What if I win a trip package and I'm not able to make the trip?
You can designate a proxy to take the trip on your behalf. At your request, and with the approval of the Iowa Lottery, the necessary arrangements for you
to transfer the trip can be made prior to the booking deadline at no additional cost to you. If the need for a Proxy is determined after travel booking
arrangements have been made for the original prize winner, the winner will be responsible for all additional expenses incurred for booking travel for
the proxy. If you win a VIP trip package, you can get more information from the Lottery on proxies after the drawing.
Does my guest need to be 21 years of age or older?
There is no age restriction for guests.
If I don't take a guest with me or my guest can't go on the trip, am I responsible for the full cost of the trip prize package?
Winners who do not elect to take a guest, or whose guest does not take the trip, are subject to the full prize reporting and withholding.
