Prizes
What prizes will be awarded in the promotion?
There will be $100,000 in cash prizes awarded to 33 winners.
Prizes:
$20,000 – 1 winner
$10,000 – 2 winners
$5,000 – 5 winners
$2,000 – 10 winners
$1,000 – 15 winners
The $20,000 winner will be drawn first, followed by the $10,000, $5,000, $2,000 and $1,000 winners in descending prize order.
If I purchased more than $1 in Lotto America plays on one ticket, do I get more entries when I enter that ticket in the promotion?
No. One ticket equals one entry. Each Lotto America ticket entered will receive one entry in the drawing regardless of the ticket value or the number of plays on the ticket.
Can I win more than one prize?
You can enter multiple tickets in the drawing, but you can win only one cash prize.
General
Which tickets are eligible to be entered in the promotion?
$1 or more Iowa Lotto America tickets purchased on or after March 1, 2022, are eligible for entry.
Is each ticket entered eligible for any of the cash prizes?
Yes. When you enter an eligible Lotto America ticket before 10 a.m. March 29, you'll automatically receive an entry in the drawing for a chance to win a cash prize of $1,000, $2,000, $5,000, $10,000 or $20,000.
Can I enter winning Lotto America tickets in the promotion?
Yes. Winning and nonwinning tickets - purchased on or after March 1, 2022 - are eligible for entry.
Drawings
What is the time period to enter tickets in the promotion?
There will be one drawing period. Entries can be made in this promotion from 10 am on March 7 through 9:59 am on March 29.
The drawings will be held on March 31.
