CLIVE, Iowa — A Waterloo man has won a lottery prize of nearly $35,000.

Curtis Lane won a jackpot prize in the "MONOPOLY Game Tokens Progressive" InstaPlay game from the Iowa Lottery and licensed by Scientific Games, LLC. He purchased his winning ticket at K & M Korner, 1830 N. Raymond Road in Dewar, and claimed his prize of $34,908.90 on Friday a the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

MONOPOLY Game Tokens Progressive is a $5 game that features a unique play style based on the classic board game. Its progressive jackpot starts at $5,000 and increases with every ticket sold statewide until it is won.

InstaPlay games combine features from instant-scratch and lotto games to give players an option with no numbers to pick, playslips to fill out or wait for a drawing. InstaPlay tickets are known as "scratchless" because they have no security coating that needs to be removed to determine the prize won. The tickets are printed on demand from the lottery terminal.
