CLIVE, Iowa — A Poweshiek County man has won a lottery prize of more than $14,000.

Chris Hurst of Brooklyn won a jackpot prize in the Iowa Lottery's “Fat Wallet Progressive” InstaPlay game. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 106 W. Second St. in Brooklyn, and claimed his prize of $14,867.60 on July 31 at the lottery's main office in Clive.

Fat Wallet Progressive is a $2 game that features a jackpot that starts at $2,000 and increases with every ticket sold statewide until it is won.

InstaPlay combines features of scratch and lotto games. Tickets are printed on demand from lottery terminals rather than being pre-printed, and are sometimes called “scratchless” because there is no security coating to remove.

InstaPlay games range in price from $1 to $30. For more information, visit www.ialottery.com.
