Which scratch tickets may be entered for a chance to win in the Explore Iowa promotion?

Only nonwinning Iowa Lottery "Explore Iowa" scratch tickets are eligible for entry.

Can I win more than one $25,000 Polaris® gift certificate? more than one $5,000 cash prize?

While you can enter multiple times in multiple drawings, you can win only one $25,000 Polaris® Gift Certificate and one $5,000 cash prize per drawing date.

Do my entries carry over from one drawing to the next?

Entries do not carry over from one drawing to the next except for the grand prize drawing. All entries not selected as a winner in the selected prize category in the first 3 drawings will be eligible for the grand prize drawings for that same category.

Polaris ® Gift Certificate Prize

If I win a Polaris® gift certificate prize package, how do I claim it?

Polaris® gift certificate prize package winners in the Explore Iowa promotion drawings must complete their paperwork (includes signing a winner claim form, and providing appropriate tax documentation and a legible copy of their government-issued photo identification) at any Iowa Lottery regional office, by mail to the Iowa Lottery Headquarters office or via the Iowa Lottery's digital promotion prize claim process within 10 days after the draw date to claim their prize.

Will I have to pay taxes on the Polaris® gift certificate prize package if I am the winner?

The Polaris® gift certificate prize package includes the required state and federal withholding taxes paid on value of the prize package, but the winner of a prize package is responsible for all other taxes that may be due.

Is there a cash option for the Polaris® gift certificate prize package?

There is no cash option for a Polaris® gift certificate prize package. Winners must present claim documents at any Iowa Lottery regional office, by mail to the Iowa Lottery Headquarters office or via the Iowa Lottery's digital promotion prize claim process within 10 days after the draw date to receive the prize.

If I win a Polaris® gift certificate prize package, how do I redeem it?

Winners will receive instructions on how to redeem their gift certificate when they claim their prize.
