CLIVE, Iowa — A Clinton man has won a $20,000 lottery prize.

Steven Clark won the fourth top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "$20,000 Crossword" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Kwik Star, 249 Main Ave. in Clinton, and claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

The $20,000 Crossword game is a $2 scratch game that features 34 top prizes of $20,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.46. For more information about this game, and the number of prizes still available, visit www.ialottery.com.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
