CLIVE, Iowa — A Knoxville man has won a $500,000 lottery prize.
James Briggs won the fourth prize of $500,000 in the Iowa Lottery's "$500,000 Cash" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 901 S. Market St. in Oskaloosa, and claimed his prize Thursday at lottery headquarters in Clive.
